"Folsom's Window to the World Part II" SF, 2025
Framed Archival photographic print, 18 x 12.
Photography by Gareth Gooch
Taken at the infamous Up Your Alley Fair held each year in San Francisco.
"Born in the UK, I attended the prestigious College of Art and Design in Newport, Wales, where I studied under British photographer David Hurn, of the Magnum Photos collaborative.
The focus of my work since moving to San Francisco from London in 2008 has been on documenting the disenfranchised subcultures of our time: the dynamism of street art and the artists who create it, and the ongoing LGBTQI+ political struggle for equal rights and the LGBTQl+ performing arts." -Gareth Gooch
