vendor application

Hey there, we are SO happy you’re here and cannot wait to see what you do! Let us start by saying that our goal is to reduce barriers Bay Area artists face in getting their work out into the world. We understand that people shine in different ways, and want to provide an accessible way for everyone to complete this application. We’d love to get to know you on your terms, so you can apply in any of the following ways: written response, upload a video or audio clip with your answers, or reach out to devlin@queerartsfeatured.com to schedule an in person interview. If you have any other accessibility questions or needs please reach out as well. We value all forms of communication.

Vendor Qualifications and Our Mission

Thank you for your interest in selling your creations at Queer A.F.! We are excited to showcase the work of local artisans and makers in our boutique, with an emphasis on handcrafting and ethical sourcing. Artwork, jewelry, fashion, accessories, ceramics, health & beauty products*, and homewares are a few items we’d love to see, but the possibilities are endless! We are excited to see work that is (including, but not limited to) original, unique, vintage/repurposed, environmentally friendly, and Queer A.F.!

We strive to offer products that are good for the environment and for the community. As you design and produce your products, please do your best to minimize packaging, reduce waste, reuse materials, and recycle. Where possible, please consider if your products are sourced ethically.

COMMISSION RATES

Our aim as an artist collective is to reduce barriers that local artists and artisans face, so we always keep commission rates below the standard 40% market rate. Queer AF commission fees will be used to support operation costs to sustain this small business and, in turn, more creators!

Please note we are actively prioritizing BIPOC, Trans, Non Binary, and Femme makers & themes.

*If your creations are for health or beauty (it’s all beauty, but you know what we mean ;), please be sure that all your products/goods comply with local, state, and federal regulations so we can keep the doors open!
